Each year, we conduct many activities at the Shodhak Library in Phule Nagar, Powai, Mumbai. Our goal is to provide free library access to the children from the underprivileged section of the society and promote early literacy.
By supporting this cause, you will be:
- Contributing to the book collection of the library
- Sponsoring the facilities for regular reading activities conducted here
- Helping to sustain our library infrastructure
- Sponsoring events organised for the children
You can choose to
- Support monthly 20 reading activities at the library at Rs.25000/-
- Sponsor an event at Rs. 20,000/- per event
- Support monthly costs towards library activities and expenses at Rs.85000/- per month
We have been conducting this camp since 2007. An Annual six-day summer camp seeks to boost creativity among the participating children and enrich their knowledge by covering 12 focus areas, including math, science, theatre, astronomy, nature and more!
By supporting this cause, you will be:
- Helping organise this massive event
- Contributing to better education
- Giving children a chance to learn through discovery and doing
- Ensuring better facilities at the camp
You can choose to
- Support a child for the camp at Rs. 20,000 (Rs. 3500 per child)
- Support food cost for 1 camp at Rs.90,000 for 150 ppl (Rs. 100 per person per day)
- Make a lumpsum contribution towards all costs for 1 BMC school camp for 100 children at Rs. 3,00,000
Our Foundational Literacy Numeracy (FLN) programme works towards improving reading and arithmetic competency in children with the aim to establish a strong foundation for academic growth.
By supporting this cause, you will be:
- Contributing to the classroom activities
- Covering the costs for Math Kits distributed
- Covering the costs for Literacy Kits
- Supporting activities to improve reading among children
- Supporting activities for maths competency
You can choose to
- Support 10 classroom sessions per week for literacy and numeracy by trained resource teachers at Rs. 5000
- Monthly program implementation support (Kits and Sessions) at Rs. 30,000/- per school
- Annual Program implementation support (Kits and Sessions) at Rs.3,50,000 per school
